Health Care Bill Increases Need for Physicians?

After all the debates and arguments regarding the new health care bill, we all know that what these officials are working on is to provide more reasonably priced plans. Now that these negotiations have been finalized, families under the low-income bracket can now afford the health care that they certainly deserve.

The health insurance reform bill recently passed by the House of Representatives would partly sponsor the purchase of health plans by the portion of 30 million uninsured Americans who fall under certain income levels. Now the problem is that because of the instant increase of people who have access to health care, U.S. is currently suffering from shortage of primary care doctors.

As a result too, many doctors have been forced to stop accepting new patients, or refuse to accept patients under Medicare or certain health insurance plans whose compensations they consider too low. The cost of medical malpractice insurance, which is not mentioned in the legislation, is an additional factor that prevents more doctors from providing their expertise and services.
